According to The Georgia Secretary of State Board Rules (2015), a clinical supervisor is defined as “a person who is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist and must have practiced in their specialty for at least 2,000 clock hours over a minimum of 2 years following licensure.” (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R.135-5-.04) (O.C.G.A Secs. 43-1-25, 43-10A-5, 43-10A-12.)
Engaging and remaining consistent with quality clinical supervision is a crucial piece in the foundation of your clinical work. In supervision, FELICIA THOMAS L,M.F.T provides a safe space for you to explore yourself as a person and a clinician. The reality is that every therapist has their own lived experiences, opinions, and even judgments. Supervision helps you own your story and do the necessary work in your life, in order to be fully present and in tune to your clients. My primary focus will be on guiding you to your most genuine and authentic self, in order to be truly present and effective with your clients. I also offer consultation for clinicians wanting to develop a successful private practice when independently licensed.
COST
Individual Supervision:
$75 per hour. (You will be seen once a week)
Group Supervision:
$65 per person for each session for 1 hour group session.
